The Torres Winery voted “Most Innovative Tourism Experience” at the Wine Tourism Awards

The Torres Winery received the prize for the “Most Innovative Tourism Experience” at the 5th Wine Tourism Awards, presented by the prestigious wine magazine Drinks International.

The Torres Winery Visitor Centre, in Pacs del Penedès, offers more than 20 wine experiences for all kinds of visitors. In addition to its regular programme of events, the winery also hosts unique experiences on specific dates.

The Vineyard and Photography Tour, an autumn activity during which amateur photographers can improve their camera skills with a professional photographer at the winery’s wide variety of indoor and outdoor spaces.  The Vineyard Race, a fun run among the vines that is usually held in spring. The ‘Blind Tapas’ Experience, which gives participants the opportunity to explore the world of aromas, senses and sensations through a surprising food and wine pairing. And the Brandy-Making Workshop, where participants can discover the secrets of this spirit, make their own blend and take a bottle home with them as a memento.

According to the February issue of the British magazine, the judges also pointed out that a previous winner, the Starry Night stargazing event, continued to impress.
